Summer Books
READ & CURRENT
— Cleopatra and Frankenstein
&
— Blue Sisters
by Coco Mellors
• Really liked Cleopatra and Frankenstein, a real easy breezy read for the summer.
• I am currently reading Blue Sisters. Almost halfway through, devouring page after page, would love for it to be a thousand pages. The book takes you in the heart of the complicated relationship in between sisters. I am the eldest of my sisters, so it is easy to identify with one or the other in terms of the torment and joy of Sisterhood. I feel for each character of the Blue sisters. A must read if you enjoy reading family saga in the likes of Pachinko by Min Jin Lee or the Dutch House by Ann Pachett. (Both are on my reading list for the Autumn).
NEXT BOOKS
— The Garden Against Time by Olivia Laing
• Looking very much forward to reading this Book.
— Tom Lake, by Ann Pachett
— Almost All The Flowers in My Mother´s Garden by Hilla Kurki.
